Once upon a time, in a heavenly realm known most often only in man's dreams, lived a beautiful Angel, with such pure and loving energy, that God in her wisdom knew must travel to Earth.

"Angel, I notice that your heart and wings have stopped growing and so I am offering you the opportunity of a life-time on Earth, that you might develop your creative and loving powers more fully and that you might spread your wings and continue to grow."

Angel thought long and hard. She trusted God, but she had grown to love her magical playground, and she didn’t want to be parted from her family and friends.

Just as she always did, God knew the thoughts and feelings of this precious beloved Angel, and spoke softly to her, saying;

"Angel, some of your family and friends will be joining you on your life-journey, and though others will continue to live here with me, a part of us will go with you and we will always be with you in spirit. You will never be alone I promise, so go on my love, choose a body, Earth needs someone just like you, and I'm sure you'll enjoy the adventure."

Her fears and doubts transformed by God's love, the Angel opened up her majestic wings, and with an eagerness born out of her love she flew quickly to Earth. The journey took moments, yet it seemed so far removed from her celestial home, she had come to love and cherish. Earth was so dense a planet, that she struggled at times to hear the love signal that was being transmitted from her family and friends back home. Some of The Earth people were living in hell, as many of them had forgotten who they were. Few remembered how to use their wings. most had forgotten that they ever had them.

She too spent many years, lost in her own private version of hell on earth, as the veil of forgetfulness grew thick around her. But her Angelic sisters were never far away, and from time to time she would meet up with one or two of them who had taken the same Earth journey. These Earth Angels had smiles that could melt your heart, and a flicker of recognition could be found in their eyes when they met. Over many years, the Earth Angels would meet unexpectedly, and due to the love and support of their fellow angels, their hearts swelled and their wings grew in strength that from time to time they managed short flights.

Of course those that still slept in their forgetfulness, were quick to tell them that they were "flights of fancy" and "quite unreal". Struggling to maintain their higher vibrations, the Earth Angels, often flew for a short time, only to bring themselves down to earth with a bump. It dawned upon them one day that if they listened carefully enough and focused on the memory of their family back home, that their wings gained strength and they could fly for longer periods of time. At night they would fly without effort through the many villages, towns and countries. They could be found visiting their loved ones back home, at the bedside of a lonely soul, a frightened child, a sick animal, making its transition back home.

Wherever their heart was called to be, there you would find them. Soon, when their wings had grown much stronger, they took to flying during the daytime too.

Some people marvelled at their graceful flight and wanted to know how it was possible, others were frightened by the Angels power. Outwardly they would ridicule and laugh at the Earth Angels, but inwardly they were quite desperate to discover their own wings, so they too could fly. These Angels had such beauty and vision, and their love was so strong, it could be felt by all. Due to the brilliant light of these Angels they attracted much sorrow and negativity, like moths to a light-bulb, the Earth people who had forgotten (SELF-forgotten Angels,) would bring their fears and their tears to the Angels. Earth Angels too were to know personally the deep pain and suffering of loss, dis-ease, and tragedy. It was at those times of great pain, when the joyful memory of home, was most strong, that they struggled to stay on earth. Their light dimmed by the heavy cloak of fear, they turned to the kingdom of heaven within, and knocking gently on the door of their heart, they crossed the threshold to a world of Love, and God spoke to them clearly.

"The life of an Earth Angel is much like a rainbow, made up of a magical blend of multi-coloured experiences, in order to know and experience the great LOVE that you are, you must journey first through the darkness, as the snowdrop journeys through the darkness of their environment, the soil, to come out in the light of day, for this is the journey of all, the journey from LOVE to LOVE."

Remembering God's words of LOVE, the Angels, took their sensitivity into the Kingdom of Nature, where they found such beauty and joy. Once more their hearts swelled and their wings took flight, as they danced through the woods with the nature sprites.
