THERMAL AURICULAR THERAPY (Hopi Ear Candling)
The knowledge of this intensive but pleasant and completely natural painless treatment, has been handed down to us from the Native American Hopi Indians of North Arizona. Hopi means people of peace. Ear candles were traditionally used by Shaman healers, the ancient wall paintings shown in colour inside the 'Hopi Tower' Grand Canyon, Arizona, USA show the importance of the healing ceremony. Considered a classic clearance therapy, it can be used for many problems related to the head and ears. This treatment BENEFITS patients with: Excessive or compacted wax in ears, Sinusitis, Rhinitis, Glue Ear, Colds/Flu, Tinnitus, Vertigo, Meniers Syndrome, Headaches, Migraine This relaxing and calming therapy works on a chimney principle, drawing any impurities to the surface where they are gently removed. It can continue to work for 24-48 hours later. Application - carried out in a relaxed atmosphere, the recipient needs to be comfortable lying on their side, the Therapist positioned at their head. Both ears should be always be treated one after the other, each ear takes between 10-15 minutes, the patient experiencing a pleasant crackling sound and a warm comfortable feeling. Afterwards a facial massage to stimulate energy points and complete relaxation. A subsequent resting period of 5 - 10 minutes is advisable. Ear candles are made on the old original recipe originating from the Hopi Indians, using only natural ingredients: 100% pure Beeswax, Valuable honey extracts, Essential oil of sage, Camomile, Crushed Indian medicinal herbs, St. John's Wort, Beta Carotene, Organically grown flax. They are produced to excellent standards with an efficient filter to prevent liquid wax or candle residue from entering the ear, and have had scientific medical testing. A constant high quality is ensured but some variation in length and colour of candles is usual in natural products.
