What Skills and Experience Do I Need to Become a Successful Life Coach?

Coaches come from all different backgrounds, skills, and experiences.  If you have general life experience, a willingness to learn, a positive attitude and a desire to help others you can learn powerful coaching processes and techniques needed to become a great life coach.

What Types of Life Coach Training do you Offer?

We offer both live and distant learning options, enabling you to study at your own pace around your family and work commitments.  Our holistic life coaching course will allow you to gain the necessary insurance to set up practice as a coach. 

Specialist Training?

All life coaches bring their individual background training and experience to their coaching and this may form your specific coaching niche.  For example if you have a background in accounts or business,  you may wish to specialise as a start-up coach for small business owners. Should you wish to specialise and extend your skills, you may enrol on our Hypnotherapy, NLP or Energy Psychology Training, all of which can be applied to both individual, group and business coaching.

 How Much Does a Life Coach Earn?

Coaching fees vary widely, depending on the coach and the service provided.  How much are you worth?  Personal coaching generally starts from around £50 an hour and some coaches charge £16000 per year.  It’s your business, so the sky really is the limit.  If what you offer provides value to your client, you simply need to put together a package that will resolve your client’s issues.  Remember it’s not really about how much you charge per hour, rather what value you can provide.  Many coaches are now earning six figure incomes, having developed and marketed their coaching programmes.

How Are The Correspondence Courses Delivered?

Our training courses are designed to cater for all learning styles and integrate knowledge, skills and experience. Each module has its own assignments to help integrate the learning and evidence your growing competency.

How Many Modules Are There?

The Certificate in Life Coaching has four modules. 

How Will My Work Be Assessed?

Each module contains its own assignments, comprising of review questions, personal reflection and experiential tasks. Once you have studied a particular module, you will complete the related assignments and email these to your tutor for marking.  We aim to return marked assignments within 14 days and often sooner.  Any questions you have may also be submitted at this time. You may continue to study at your own pace and your assignments once marked, will be returned to you with your tutor comments and feedback.

How Long Will It Take Me To Complete The Training?

This is entirely up to you and will depend upon your individual circumstances. Your course material will be delivered electronically and you are free to study at your own pace, allowing you to fit your studies around your work or family commitments.
